Update for Windows Vista Sp1 (KB937286) – Aggiornato

Aggiornamento:finalmente è disponibile anche in italiano, è il primo update post-sp1, se non erro

Ultima novità su questo famoso Service Pack 1: i file della guida in linea aggiornati o nuovi, che riguardano appunto le cose che il Sp1 aggiorna o aggiunge al sistema NON saranno presenti nel service pack stesso.

Microsoft ha già predisposto una KB online ed il relativo download che contiene l’help per l’SP1 e i relativi aggiornamenti (naturalmente windows update lo aggancerà automaticamente, non abbiate paura).

Per ora, come il papà sp1, anche questo update c’è solo nelle top-5, inglese, tedesco, giapponese, spagnolo, francese.

Controllate al termine la directory C:\Windows\Help\Windows\it-IT

Se la data di modifica di tutti i file presenti nella directory è 2 novembre 2006, il pacchetto di aggiornamento dei file della Guida non è stato installato per tale lingua o area.

Se la data di modifica del 90% dei file presenti nella directory è 18 gennaio 2008, il pacchetto di aggiornamento dei file della Guida è stato installato per tale lingua o area.

    Vorrei segnalare una cosa:
    utorrent può far andare in bambola Vista. come?
    basta che si abbia vista e linux (ubuntu in questo caso) nello stesso PC con HD diviso più o meno cosi: Vista – Dati – Ubuntu – Swap, metti a scaricare i stessi file tramite torrent su tutti e due i SO(utorrent e deluge in questo caso) sul l’HD di Dati cosi che ogni volta che cambi SO scarichi le stesse cose. MA appena passi su Vista e avrete subito uno Stop 0×50 e non capirete più niente, perchè sui minidump ci sarà un errore in ntoskernel.exe.
    RISOLUZIONE:
    non scaricare in questo modo.

    Conseguenze per aver installato sp1 su un vista 64 ultimate + il piccolo aggiornamento da 17m e spiccioli:
    il pc si avvia in piu o meno 5 minuti e nn va un tubo, oltretutto avevo creato un punto di ripristino e appena installato sp1 nn c’e’ piu..

    hdd 80g sata
    gigabite 3200adv
    scheda video x1800 12mb

    sono praticamente nella tua stessa situazione, solo che ho home premium 32… comunque sono riuscito a far tornare il pc al punto di ripristino col nome service pack 1 (prima me li aveva cancellati tutti), e di fatto il sp1 non c’è quindi sono riuscito a risolvere così… anche se il pc è notevolmente più lento

    ho fatto bene a questo punto a scaricarmi il torrent Service Pack 1 per gli OEM circa 20 giorni fa! Non ho avuto nessun tipo di problema! per noi italiani fanno sempre aggiornamenti del cavolo! sempre problemi!

  5. Oggi windows Update mi ha segnalato che è disponibile il Sp1…ma dai vostri commenti mi viene un po’ paura…ho Vista 32 bit che va da dio e non vorrei peggiorare la situazione…e se alcuni driver che ho installato io poi con il sp1 non me li ritrovo più??? Aspetterò qualche giorno e rifletterò….
    Si ma dai, certo che alla Microsoft non ce la fanno proprio a fare le cose che funzionino al 100%….c’è sempre un ma o un però… :(

  6. Ora sorrido pensando che ci ho messo 3 giorni a installarlo ma a me va tutto bene, a parte il fatto che NON vedo differenze…
    PS: ho verificato e sul mio pc persino i punti di ripristino ci sono tutti

  10. praticamente questo update aggiorna la guida in linea in modo che tenga conto delle modifiche e delle novità introdotte col service pack 1
